International Mother Language Day in Hanoi, Vietnam has been celebrated with enthusiasm.

Bangladesh’s ambassador to Vietnam, Ms Samina Naj, began the day’s program by formally raising the national flag in the morning. Embassy employees and Bangladeshi expatriates living in Vietnam and local dignitaries attended on the Mother language day – Feb 21st 2020.

In the afternoon, a special ceremony was held in the afternoon to recite poetry recitation at the local elite Millia Hotel. Expatriate Bangladeshi, Vice-Dean of the Diplomatic Corps of Vietnam (Ambassador to Palestine), Ambassador / Delegate to India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Switzerland and Italy; Media, business representatives Rndasaha several dignitaries were present. Embassy employees were also present at the meeting.

In his address, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation and appreciation to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her role in the great language movement, the role of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the UNESCO’s recognition of international mother tongue in February. The Vice-Dean of the Diplomatic Corps expressed deep respect for Bangladesh’s contribution to the mother tongue and highlighted the importance of the issue. At this time two authentic images of language martyrs are displayed.

Finally, in poetry lessons, there are 3 internationally renowned poets from various countries of the world (Mr. Manfred Chobot (Austria), Dr. Sudipto Chatterjee (India), Mr. Bengt Berg (Sweden), Mr. Gabriel Franco Colombia, Mr. Satkani Ghosh). (India), Mr. Jose Muchnik (France), Mr. Biplab Majee (India), Mr. Fernando Randon (Colombia) I Mr. Aminur Rahman (Bangladesh).
